Hong Kong: Lunch with Sam Crane

Williams Hong Kong Regional Association invites Williams alumni, parents, and guests to a lunch and discussion with Professor Sam Crane. Professor Crane will share his views on Xi's consolidation of power at the 19th Party Congress.

Sam Crane is the W. Van Alan Clark '41 Third Century Professor in the Social Sciences. He teaches courses in contemporary Chinese politics and ancient Chinese philosophy through the Political Science Department. He has written two books, Aidan’s Way, and Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Dao: Ancient Chinese Thought in Modern American Life, which explores applications of Confucian and Daoist ideas to contemporary issues.
